«Mini-invasive interventions under ultrasound and X-ray television control»

The 3-day course «Mini-invasive interventions under the control of ultrasound and X-ray TV» was completed. During 3 days 20 surgeons, oncologists and ultrasonic diagnostics specialists from 7 cities of Russia improved their professional skills and honed their skills by participating in the course «Mini-invasive interventions under the control of ultrasound and X-ray television».

The skills were practiced on live tissue of laboratory animals (mini-pigs), as well as on tissue-mimicking biological modules with the help of high-class equipment of the Danish brand BK Medical.

As part of the cycle, participants mastered:

Trepan biopsy under ultrasound control;
Intraoperative ultrasound, including laparoscopic ultrasound on abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal organs, and others.
