ICCA: digital intensive care solution for ICU and anesthesia departments

ICCA: digital intensive care solution for ICU and anesthesia departments

In intensive care units (ICUs) and operating rooms, data is generated continuously from multiple sources: patient monitors, ventilators, anesthesia machines, infusion pumps, laboratory systems, medical orders, and clinical documentation.

When this information remains distributed across separate devices and systems, it becomes more difficult for physicians to obtain a complete overview of the patient’s condition, while department managers face challenges in assessing workload and operational efficiency.

Our portfolio includes Philips IntelliSpace Critical Care & Anesthesia (ICCA) — a clinical information system designed for intensive care and anesthesia environments.

ICCA enables the integration of data from bedside medical devices, hospital information systems (HIS), laboratory information systems (LIS), and other digital platforms into a unified clinical workflow.

The system supports real-time electronic documentation, intensive care and anesthesia records, electronic medication management, clinical protocols, checklists, and clinical decision support tools.

To connect medical devices with information systems, our portfolio includes Philips IntelliBridge interface modules: EC5 and EC10.

Within the digital ICU environment, ICCA can be integrated with Philips PIC iX — a central patient monitoring platform — and Philips IntelliVue MX850 — a patient monitor.
